Karey Thieman, CNP, completed her undergraduate work at Mount Marty College in Yankton, SD, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. In 1997, she graduated from South Dakota State University with a Master of Science degree in Nursing. Karey Thieman is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She is also a certified instructor through the American Academy of Pediatrics for the Neonatal Resuscitation Program, and is certified through the American Heart Association as an instructor for CPR and ACLS. Karey Thieman, CNP, also holds certification through the Oncology Nursing Society. She is a member of the South Dakota Board of Nursing and the American Nurses Association and is a long-time member of the South Dakota Perinatal Association.
