Dr. Al Helbig is a Pierre native. In 2005 he pursued a B.A. in biology and communication disorders at Augustana College of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and upon completion in 2009, he attended the University of Nebraska–Lincoln to obtain his doctorate in audiology (Au.D.). Dr. Helbig enjoys serving his community’s hearing needs and specializes in diagnostic hearing evaluations, hearing aid fitting, and comprehensive balance assessment. Dr. Helbig and his wife Alicia have 2 children and are active with local youth ministry as well as any and all outdoor activities.
