Home Health
When you’re ill or recovering from a serious injury, you want the comfort of your own home during your recuperation.
Sometimes though, you are also still in need of the skilled care of a healthcare professional. That’s the idea behind Winner Regional’s Home Health Department. We offer a wide array of services so you can get the skilled care you need while enjoying the comforts of home.

How do I enroll in Home Health?
In order to qualify for Home Health services, patients must receive a doctor’s order for a skilled need. Skilled needs include:
-
Nursing care
-
Physical therapy
-
Speech therapy
If your doctor determines you would be a good Home Health candidate, you will also qualify for occupational therapy and aide services, if needed.

Skilled Nurses
Skilled Nurses assess patients and provide care that patients’ physicians have ordered. This includes performing prescribed medical treatment, administering prescribed medications, assessing a chronic illness in which the client’s condition has deteriorated and teaching treatment, health measures and disease processes.
