Winner Regional Health commends the men, women and young adults of our community who donate their time and talents to the hospital, long term care facility, hospice program and Foundation.
These individuals enhance the well-being of our region by taking the time to brighten the day of our residents, patients and visitors.
Winner Regional Health, our volunteer boards and the hospice program enjoy the help and support of almost 100 volunteers from Winner and its surrounding communities. Each and every contribution is appreciated.
Volunteers can help in any number of ways. Long Term Care volunteers can offer up their talents to provide resident entertainment or to lend a hand in the Activities Department. Hospice volunteers provide comfort and support to patients and their families during an end-of-life illness. Foundation Board members work as a team to raise funds to support Winner Regional Health. Funds raised are utilized to aide in physician recruitment efforts, provide scholarships for area students pursuing healthcare degrees, purchase necessary medical equipment and address facility remodeling needs.
Your time can make a difference in the lives of Winner Regional patients and residents. Contributing your talents can be a very rewarding experience and is an excellent way to see if a career in healthcare might be right for you! Training is provided. Please contact one of our volunteer coordinators below if you would like more information on volunteer opportunities.
