What is Winner Regional Foundation?
The primary fundraising arm of Winner Regional Healthcare Center, the Foundation was founded in January 1991, organized to raise monies to aid the Hospital in its need to remodel and expand. It is the work of the Foundation to continue to raise funds to further improve the quality of healthcare WRHC provides the residents in our service area. Funds raised are utilized to support physician recruitment efforts, purchase necessary equipment to enhance the scope of our services and address facility remodeling or expansion needs.
The Foundation is separate from Winner Regional Healthcare Center. It has its own local Board of Directors who decides on how to best use the assets of the Foundation to support the Foundation’s mission. This Board meets monthly to discuss issues pertaining to the Foundation and its relationship with Winner Regional.
