SPEECH PATHOLOGY SERVICES NOW AVAILABLE AT WINNER REGIONAL HEALTHCARE

Winner Regional Healthcare Center would like to welcome Julie Carl, SLP, to our team of outreach specialists.
Julie is a Master’s level Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) who holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA). She has worked in many different settings during her 14 years as an SLP, including with infants and children, in school settings, long-term care, and for the past 10 years, with adults who have developmental disabilities.
Julie works with people who have swallowing difficulties, voice problems, pediatric and adult speech and language disorders, and hearing deficits from multiple causes including but not limited to stroke, traumatic brain injury, Alzheimer’s, brain tumors, learning disabilities, developmental delay, autism and vocal nodules.
Julie will be President of the South Dakota Speech-Language Hearing Association in 2011and served in that capacity in 2005 as well. Julie, who comes to us from the Sioux Falls area where she lives with her family, is excited to bring Speech Pathology Services to the Winner area.
