WINNER REGIONAL HEALTHCARE "PROUD TO DELIVER THE COMFORTS OF HOME"

The caring staff and physicians at Winner Regional Healthcare are proud to continue to offer OB services in our community. When other small regional hospitals are doing away with OB and birthing services, Winner Regional OB services continue to gain momentum and work in conjunction with clinics and physicians in the region to offer both pre and post-natal services.
In 2009, 200 babies were born at Winner Regional Healthcare Center. So far this year, 75 babies have been born at WRHC.
There are four family practice physicians, Dr. Mary Carpenter, Dr. Tony Berg, Dr. Anora Henderson and Dr. Theresa Marts - all whom offer pre and post-natal services and deliver babies at Winner Regional. There are also 24 hour/7 day a week on-call surgeons who handle cesarean sections on a scheduled or emergency basis.
Not only are pre and post-natal services offered in Winner, but excellent care is offered in conjunction with WRHC in Burke, Mission and White River.
Our hospital in Winner has one LDRP (labor, delivery, recovery and postpartum) room. This is a larger birthing room which is "family centered" for families that want to deliver in a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere.
"We have a long history of excellence in OB care that will continue into the future, " said Lynnelle Anderson, Communications Director. Karey Thieman, Director of Nursing at WRHC said, "We are proud of our nursing staff. Nursing in a small community is wonderful as our staff truly care for OB patients as if they are part of their own family. They provide great compassion and care and it is their privilege to welcome into the world and provide for newborns and their families."
Along with excellent care in a home-like environment, Winner Regional also offers OB patients a newborn gift package, and registration on our on-line baby gallery where newborn photos and information are posted to offer family and friends, local or across the country, access to photos of the baby along with pertinent information.
